You can register to join our our Fairer Hours accreditation schemes if you are able to commit to using zero hours contracts as follows:
If you are aware or believe that an accredited organisation, or an organisation that displays our logo, is in breach of the No Zero or Fairer Hours accreditation scheme rules, please contact us so that we can investigate.
- Shifts must be scheduled with at least two weeks' notice - shifts can be added at shorter notice but can be declined by the employee or worker without penalty;
- Shifts cancelled at less than two weeks' notice will still be paid;
- Employees or workers may request a contract with more fixed hours at any time, without consequence;
- You should review actual hours worked annually and initiate a supportive conversation with a view to providing a contract at or close to the hours actually being worked as soon as possible.
